Breast health is vital for early detection of breast cancer, enhancing treatment success. Maintaining breast health not only supports physical health but also promotes emotional and mental well-being, fostering a proactive approach to women's health and longevity.
We have several services to assist you with breast health including prevention and after other treatments.
Capsular Contracture
This treatment loosens the “ties” or tissues that are squeezing the skin layers together allowing for a contracture to occur. It also regenerates the tissues surrounding the contracture allowing for tightening of the surrounding skin and adding in new elasticity to the breast making them more even in appearance.

Duration of Treatments
Treatment times can vary depending on severity and size of the contracture but in most cases treatment takes only 15-30 minutes. You will need a series of treatments between 4-10 sessions with an average of 6 at 24 hour intervals so the average length of treatments is 1 week, making it a fast and easy process.

Thermogram
Thermography is a noninvasive tool that uses an infrared camera to produce images (thermograms) that show the patterns of heat and blood flow on or near the surface of the body. Thermography devices, also known as digital infrared imaging devices, have been cleared for marketing by the FDA only for use with another screening or diagnostic test like mammography, not for use as a standalone diagnostic tool.
The FDA recommends that this telethermographic system be intended for only adjunctive use in combination with other diagnostic imaging modalities (i.e., Mammography, MRI, Ultrasound, CT).
We have 2 medical partners that conduct thermograms at our office.

HerScan Ultrasound
Ultrasound screenings are offered by HerScan and performed at our Huntersville office. Ultrasound increases detection rates of breast cancer from approximately 48% to 97%, particularly in women with dense breasts.
